It's a good time to be a Ford Dealer

I recently attended a Regional Ford meeting and I couldn't help but to be impressed with the upcoming product lineup. Ford's innovation and product development has allowed them to rise above other domestic automobile manufacturers.

T he 2011 Ford Mustang hits our showroom this summer but it is already making news. The V-6 model is going to be the first North American car to have over 300 horsepower with getting over 30 mpg. The 2011 Ford Mustang GT will top its class with 26 mpg while drawing 412 horsepower.

T he 2011 Ford Super Duty will be the first re-designed model to hit our showroom in 2010. The all-new 2011 Ford Super Duty delivers best-in-class torque, towing and payload capacity, and horsepower. Along with its best-in-class towing and payload, the Ford designed 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 turbo-diesel engine also produces 735 ft.-lb. of torque at 1,600 rpm and 390 horsepower at 2,800 rpm.

The vehicle that impressed me the most was the all new 2011 Ford Fiesta. The Fiesta is projected to get over 40 mpg. It is projected to be a class leader in fuel economy while maintaining an aggressive fit and finish. This car will rival the Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris, and Nissan Versa. The Fiesta has been a huge hit in Europe and there are already 6000 retail orders in the United States.

With all of these progressive new products it is a very exciting time to be a Ford Dealer.
